In Shoobie Doobie, Sylvester negates all sense of
authenticity to create a surreal spatial environment
of exaggeration and differing emotional states that
mixes authentic desires to distorted supernatural
constructs. As the artist states of this exhibition,
‘each work is my own Pinocchio,
a lie I wish to come true’.
